In a reality like ours, the sound of machines is the soundtrack of our workdays...
Each machine has its own rhythm—recognizable, unique—like the beating of a heart, pulsing with energy, creating music.
Thanks to the collaboration with Pietro Asolari, a young musician from the Venice Conservatory, three original compositions were born: starting from recordings made in-house of the sounds produced by our printing and packaging machines, and blending them with electronic music and distinctive elements of the printing environment, a unique and experimental project came to life. It unfolds in three very different tracks, all connected by a single common thread: the sounds of Grafica Atestina.
The three tracks, available on Spotify, were included at the end of our monograph, because after reading through 70 years of history and observing the passage of time through printed photographs, it felt essential to also hear the notes that accompany us every day—to offer a truly immersive, multisensory experience.
