In collaboration with Systembox, we hosted the technicians of CITO at our facilities for a day of advanced technical training. CITO is a German company and an international leader in die-cutting solutions. The training session was dedicated to optimizing production processes and improving packaging quality.
The program focused on analyzing the main critical issues in die cutting for solid board and corrugated board, with the aim of enhancing processing precision, carton reliability, and overall production efficiency.
During the session, key topics in the paper converting industry were explored, including:
- pressure adjustment and quality control in die cutting
- selection of the most suitable creasing rules according to the material
- analysis of nicking errors and related corrective solutions
- formulas and technical parameters for proper die construction
The training included practical case studies on materials such as GC2 and concluded with a live demonstration on the use of CITOSOL for cleaning and maintaining die-cutting plates.
